Uber deal with NASA for flying cars in 2020

Uber is turning it idea in to reality, flying taxis every where in the sky. Uber deal with NASA to manage air traffic for it Uber Air Service. Flying cars are no more just a dream, Uber is willing to launched its first flying taxi in 2020.

Billion dollar cab company is now building something amazing, from cab to flying taxis. Uber has deal with NASA to develop a software that will manage flying taxi routes. Its the first formal contract between National Aeronautical and Space Administration (NASA) and Uber to cover low altitude airspace.

According to the Uber Chief product office Jeff Holden said:
We are very much embracing the regulatory bodies and starting very early in discussions about this and getting everyone aligned with the vision,” he said of Uber’s plans to introduce what he called “ride-sharing in the sky”.
Uber will reveal its Air Service plan in the Web Summit taking place in Lisbon this week. Uber already hired NASA veterans to run aircraft vehicle design and air traffic management software, earlier this year.

Earlier this month, NASA also said that its working with lots of small and large scale companies for the emerging market of Urban Air Mobility. NASA have to resolve the problem of thousand of aircraft in the urban skies along with existing air traffic control system.

Uber is also trying to deal with real state developers to build rooftop pads for the Uber Air Service flying taxis.
